The courses were introduced in 2017 under the state-run program aimed at preparing foreign students for enrolment in Russian universities for undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
The main goal is the formation of sufficient knowledge and mastery of the Russian language allowing international students to study in Russian universities comfortably experiencing no language barriers.
There are two courses offered at LUNN:
The courses are conducted both on a paid basis and free of charge.
The free-of-charge tuition is available for students who have been awarded scholarships by the Russian Ministry of Education and Science after applicable contest procedures.

Depending on the selected preparatory course, either of which requires extensive learning of the Russian language, students also learn the following academic subjects:

A standard-form certificate and an academic record (optionally) shall be issued upon the completion of either course.
